14 patches across 10 counties, 6 free to enter. The season opens August 29 at B.J. Reece Orchards.
14 of the 38 Georgia patches we track are in North Georgia, spread across Chattooga County, Dawson County, Fannin County, Floyd County, Gilmer County, Gordon County, Habersham County, Pickens County, Polk County, Rabun County. 10 of them run a corn or crop maze, and 8 have farm animals your kids can get close to. 4 have their 2026 dates confirmed on the farm's own site.
Admission runs from $8 a head at B.J. Reece Orchards up to $18 at Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch — a real spread, and one worth checking against how long you actually plan to stay. A paid festival only pays for itself if you use it for half a day.
6 patches here are free to walk into, which makes them the low-risk option with unpredictable toddlers — you are not out $80 if the visit lasts twenty minutes.
Georgia's fall season is genuinely different from Florida's: north of the fall line, farms can and do grow their own pumpkins and cut real corn mazes, and the North Georgia apple belt around Ellijay and Blue Ridge layers pumpkin patches on top of working orchards. That also means peak leaf season and peak patch season collide, so Highway 52 and the Blue Ridge corridor get heavy weekend traffic through October.
