San Diego pumpkin patches

9 patches across 1 county, 1 free to enter. The season opens September 17 at Bates Nut Farm.

What to expect in San Diego

9 of the 40 California patches we track are in San Diego, spread across San Diego County. 8 of them run a corn or crop maze, and 6 have farm animals your kids can get close to. 6 have their 2026 dates confirmed on the farm's own site.

One patch here is free to walk into, which makes it the low-risk option with unpredictable toddlers — you are not out $80 if the visit lasts twenty minutes.
